The Biography

Real name: Paul Gerald Greenhalgh. He choose the name 'Nicholls' when he joined the actors' union, Equity, "'cause it sounded good".

Family Background: As a young woman, his mother appeared in a few TV shows and adverts but gave it up to become a psychiatric nurse.
His father is a roofer.

Smithhills Dean High School where he achieved 7 GCSE passes including an "A" grade in Drama.
