How it all started
Way back in 1997/98 with Paul hitting 'The Big Time' in EastEnders,
the best, biggest and busiest fan site was paulnicholls.com. Acres of
info, loads of downloads and a popular and friendly message board. Every now
and then someone on the message board would ask about a Paul Nicholls mailing
list, but unfortunately the webmaster, David, didn't have the time to
create one on paulnicholls.com.
Finally, in June 1998, Nadine and Adrian decided that it just
had to be done by someone and if nobody else would, then they could do
it. And so, on Saturday, 20th of June, Greeny was
created - possibly the first ever mailing list devoted to Paul Nicholls. In
the years since then it has become the place to chat about Paul, to talk
about his various projects, and learn what he is going to be doing next. More
than just a Mailing List, and especially since paulnicholls.com closed
in 1999, Greeny became, practically, the only online
place for Paul Nicholls fans to get together.
Now, in this new millennium, Paul has completed three films, appeared on the
London stage five times (including a major West-End run) and got half-a-dozen TV shows under his belt, and more and more people want to find out just who Paul Nicholls is. To meet this demand for information, in September 2000 Greeny evolved into Paul Nicholls Online. Of course, Greeny the mailing list still exists and will remain the best place to talk about Paul with other fans and the first place you'll hear about his upcoming projects. For everything else, and for everyone else, Paul Nicholls Online will offer the most accurate and up-to-date information on Paul and his work, the best source of pictures, interviews and reviews.
Four years on, Paul Nicholls Online is still the single
best place for all things Paul and in September 2002 was completely redesigned
with a fresh new look to match the brilliant future that our man is carving
out for himself.
Basically, yes. Well, I can't really stop you anyway and besides which I
have 'borrowed' most of the pictures in the Galleries from other people already!
